Congrats to the cross country teams on the best year OPA has ever had! The boys finished 6th in state and the girls finished in second place. The boys were led by Thomas Doxey, William Hunter, Conrad Wait, Nate Empie, Lincoln Wright, and Dallin Wilkenson. Meadow Flores finished 4th overall and Rachel Ballard and Eliza Loosli finished 7th and 10th. They are the first top ten finishers in OPA history. They were followed by Hannah Miller, Brielle Boer, and Sophia Sorensen. Well done girls! The official results are posted on the cross country team page. Special thanks to coach Rempfer and coach Jack on a great season. Well done OPA!
OPA Blue finished the year with a second place region finish and a fourth place state finish. Each member played well in a very competitive Final Four, held at Hawthorn Academy in West Jordan. Congratulations to each player, especially Liesl Doxey, Grace Hicks, Mikaya Gentry, and Alexis Hernandez. These ninth graders have laid a strong foundation for their younger teammates to build upon. Special thanks to Coach Means and Coach Hicks for all of their dedication and hard work. We couldn't have done it without you!
